Course Calendars

Students enrolled in SCDSB schools have multiple pathways to earn academic credits. These include selecting courses from their home school's course calendar, as well as exploring online learning opportunities available through the eLearning course calendar. Additionally, students may choose to enroll in night school or summer school programs, which offer further options to support their educational goals.

Course Selections

Course selections begin in January for incoming grade 8 students, and February for grades 9-12.

As students prepare to select courses, it is important to carefully consider options. Be sure to include all compulsory courses required for graduation, and explore elective courses that align with interests and future goals. Understanding your graduation requirements is key to staying on track.

For senior students, it is important to reflect on post-secondary pathways—whether it's college, university, apprenticeship, or entering the workforce. Choose courses that support next steps and help build the skills and knowledge needed beyond high school.

Submitting Course Selections

Course Selections will take place in myblueprint.ca/simcoe. Students should click on the GREEN Student Account Log In button and enter their regular SCDSB username and password.
