RESCHEDULED GRADE 8 FAMILY NIGHT!!

Weather permitting, our Grade 8 Family night will run on January 8th, 2026 and will follow the schedule as outlined in the poster below.

Choosing Your Courses

Grade 9 course selections for the 2026-2027 school year will begin in January 2026. Students that register after this date, or do not belong to one of Maple Ridge's feeder schools, will complete their course selections as part of the registration process. The planning documents below should be reviewed and used to decide on course requests so that those requests can be provided at registration. Having a student's course requests ready at the time of registration will ensure that the timetable is in place when the student starts school in September.

Not From one of our Feeder Schools?

If you are not from one of our three feeder schools, would like to attend Maple Ridge Secondary School, and live in our catchment area, you will need to complete the following steps. When we receive your Registration Application we will be in touch to provide you with more information and to finalize the process.

 

  1. Access the Registration Page on the SCDSB website. Here you will find valuable information such as the Home School Locator, Registration Application and information on what to expect throughout the process.
  2. Complete the Online Student Registration Application. This application will be directed to Maple Ridge Secondary School IF you live in our catchment area. If you do not live in our catchment area, it will be sent to the designated home school based on the home address.
  3. Entering grade 9 students will need to fill out the Course Selection Google Form to indicate which courses they would like to select. Time should be spent reviewing the course calendar. Remember - completing the google form does NOT register you - it only tells us the courses you would like to take once you are registered. This form will be available mid-January.
