We are excited to announce that Graduation Photos will take place at the school, starting February 24th, 2026.
Book now to reserve your spot. Visit www.bookmygrad.ca and use school code MXD.
There is a free option with 2 poses, and a paid option which includes multiple poses and props. Everyone who sits for a photo will receive a free composite.

Grad Gowns
The $50 Grad Gown fee will be available through School Cash Online starting on March 2nd and due on April 22nd, 2026. The fee covers the following:
- Black graduation cap, gown and 2026 tassel
- Teal satin V-stole
- Digital download of a picture taken onstage at commencement
- Grad breakfast/activity tickets
Valedictorian
Grade 12’s will vote on the Class of 2026 Valedictorian in spring 2026. More details to follow.
School Graduation Awards
Please find below a list of awards along with their respective descriptions, recognizing the exceptional achievements of our outstanding individuals. Your hard work and accomplishments will be highlighted in the following areas.
- Embodiment Award (Self-nomination)
The Embodiment Award will be presented to the graduating student who distinguished themselves through excellence, leadership and character within the specific subject area, demonstrating an extraordinary dedication to continuous learning and growth. Priority will be given to students with both curricular and extracurricular contributions.
- Club Award (Self-nomination)
The Club Award is presented to a graduating student who has demonstrated outstanding commitment, leadership, and initiative within a school club(s). This recognition honours the recipient's significant contributions to the club's success, showcasing their dedication to fostering a positive experience for its members.
- Raven Award (Self-nomination)
The Raven Award is presented to a graduating student who has made significant contributions to the well-being of the school community. This honour recognizes the recipient’s active engagement in building school culture as well as, or through, extracurricular leadership and participation.
- Soaring Award (Self-nomination)
The Soaring Award is presented to the graduating student who has demonstrated the most significant and commendable progress in their academic performance, showcasing a determined commitment to growth, learning, and improvement. This recognition celebrates resiliency and dedication.
- Summit Award (Self-nomination)
The Summit Award is presented to a graduating student who has displayed remarkable strength, perseverance, and courage in overcoming adversity.
- Student Athlete Award (Self-nomination)
The Student Athlete Award is granted to a graduating student(s) who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, skill, and sportsmanship in their chosen sport(s). This recognition celebrates the athlete's outstanding contributions to the school's athletic program, showcasing not only their physical proficiency but also their leadership, teamwork, and commitment to excellence on and off the field.

If you would like to be considered for one or more of the awards listed above, you are encouraged to click on the provided links below and complete the nomination process. Submissions are due by March 27th, 2025 at 2:15 pm.
